Staff Pictures - we have updated a number of the staff photos. These can be found on the School page.

Class Notes and Information - in this area you will find notes and information from the various classes.

Calendar - this terms calendar has been up dated. Check it out to see all the fantastic events coming up!

Photos - there have been a lot of new photos added to the classroom page - these include the junior tramp to Ross Creek, club days and the kapa haka group performance.

Newsletters - there have been a number of new newsletters uploaded to the school page.

2010

Welcome to a new year at East Taieri School. This year we now have 13 classrooms - the music room has been converted into a classroom space. We also have 2 new teachers on staff - Ms Celeste Hudson who will be teaching Year 5/6 in Room 4 and Mrs Sarah Dickson who will be teaching Year 1/2 in Room 11.

School starts back on Wednesday the 3rd of February and Term 1 ends on Thursday the 1st of April,

This term our Inquiry Topics are:

Our Learning Community (a health based inquiry used to establish class routines, expectations and friendships)

The World Came to My Place Today ( a geography based inquiry which will focus on cultures and where the things we purchase and consume come from)

Remember that this term is 9 weeks long.


SMART LUNCHES

These are available MONDAY, WEDNESDAYS AND FRIDAYS - $2.00 or $3.00 sandwich order. WEDNESDAY ONLY - hot lunches are available at $3.00. You can order Chow Mein, Macaroni Cheese, Spaghetti Bolognese and Shepherds Pie. Sandwiches are also available on a Wednesday. Please have orders into the office by 9am with your name and order on the front of an envelope.

Plains Junior Tryathlon

Venue: Memorial Park Mosgiel

Date: Monday 1st March

Report Time: 5 pm First Race: 6 pm

No Postponement date - on Rain or Shine

 

Entries Close: 26 February 2010 at 3 pm

Cost: $15 per individual or $10 per team member
